Appreciation post to .uk

The progress in my business since joining Uncommon and having the business coaching from these guys has developed both my business, me as an entrepreneur, and me as a person massively.

What I always tell people is how POWERFUL the group is and not just the coaches, but the people in the group too. The network, the advice, the accountability, and being surrounded by people all pushing for bigger things makes a huge difference.

I’m part of the private programme, but also the wider community as a whole, and the success stories including my own, speak for themselves.

I’ve had serious results from the advice given. It’s helped me scale to where I am, move towards where I want to be, and make things easier as a business owner.

It definitely works both ways, you get out what you put in. It’s not cutting corners or a free pass to the next level, the same amount of work, if not more, still has to go in.

What a great day for Retrofit Properties✔️ and a big step for the business.

First UK-based member of staff onboarded!

From starting out solo to now building a team of 4 (and growing), it’s been a journey but this is exactly what I envisioned. Systems, people, and the right structure in place would have been impossible to scale without it.

Looking forward to the next step—this allows me to step back further and focus purely on sales, growth, new clients, and key decisions.

Another great day presenting to another great group at the .is.property Accelerator✔️

That’s now my 6th time delivering this, and honestly it never gets old. I genuinely enjoy helping others understand what it actually takes to run serviced accommodation properly and more importantly, profitably.

My session is all about maximising revenue, but we go way deeper than that… covering around 20 key areas and few live examples to show exactly how we do it day-to-day.

Every time, you see the same thing the attendees eyes open to what’s actually possible in SA when it’s done right.

We’ve officially taken on management of Riverside Log Cabins in Perthshire, working alongside the owners & to bring the site back to life properly.

We’ve put together a full relaunch and management plan (as shown) focused on getting the cabins open as quickly as possible, generating income straight away, and then rolling into a full upgrade to reposition the site to a higher standard.

This includes:
• Interior design and staging & furnishing
• On-site operations setup with cleaner & reception hub
• Improved guest experience across the site and all cabins
• Indoor and outdoor upgrades
• Strong marketing & direct booking strategy
