I recently tried making a basin from Micro Cement.

In total it took me under 8hrs over several days.

Base made up of tile backer boards, glued and then scrim tape on all the joints.

Once the glue was dried I did 3 skim coats of white tile adhesive [each layer dried and sanded back].

Once the tile adhesive was nice and dry the microcement went on. I did 3 layers of the Micro cement. Base coat a pink, with a light grey on top.

Finally sealed with a clear coat.

Tap hole would need drill if basin ever fitted.

Thank you Mia from The Bathroom Showroom Grimsby for helping out my customers redesign this toilet space.

There's just a few finishing touches from other trades to complete this space - blind for window and new doors.

Well this has been a spectacular transition. There was so much to do with this bathroom, it went completely back to its bones.

The green, browns and PINK work sooooo well with this space.

Loved working for this customer, every day has been a joy.

I'm really looking forward to returning home to see the bathrooms I recently tiled at the Copper Beech Court, Scartho development completed.

Its a great feeling to be a part of a very local project thats transforming a very dated building into some amazing flats.
