Driveway block paving apron which was laid by another contractor 4 years ago, the client contacted me to come and repair this.
After we inspected the block paving this was all laid on soil with no sub-base and aco drains connected into nothing!

We lifted it all removing all old blocks due to how poor the blocks had been cut in. Area was excavated properly and hardcore installed. Pin kerb and edgings laid on sand and cement and then inter filled with blocks laid on compacted sand.

Client is absolutely over the moon with the block paving apron and wished he would have used us when we quoted this job 4 years ago!

Another commercial project completed to a high standard.

Scope of Works:

* Excavated and removed failed surface and sub-base materials
* Installed 150–200mm MOT Type 1 hardcore and compacted to specification
* Laid 20mm Binder Course
* Finished with SMA Surface Course to provide a durable wearing surface
* Applied overbanding to all joints to prevent water ingress and extend the lifespan of the repair
* Fully compacted and reinstated for a seamless finish

The completed works provide a robust, long-term solution capable of withstanding regular commercial traffic while improving both safety and appearance.

Another groundwork project completed.

Our team has recently finished the groundworks package on this build and the site has now been handed back to the builder to continue the next stage of construction.

Work completed included:• Drainage installation• Foundations dug and poured• Brickwork completed up to damp course• Floor slab installed• Retaining wall foundations excavated• Area filled with hardcore to keep the site clean and accessible

Everything is now set and ready for the build to move forward.
