Has someone inspired you to live fully with the Lord and you want more people to know about the impact they've had on your life? Then this anthology is for you!

The idea is you pick someone from history or someone you know and write a short bio of how they adventured with the Lord.

We're looking for stories from every sphere of society — business men and women who have used their platform to share the Love of God, sports professionals who have used their talents and skills to encourage people to walk closer to the Lord, actors and writers who have used their influence to encourage social justice/promote a biblical worldview and more!

The aim is to pick people like William Wilberforce or Billy Graham, only less well-known. We want to shine a light on those who have walked with God in various ways.

We want Kinahan Lodge to be is a place where you can gather with other people in your sphere and share good food, deep conversation and laughter. Jesus tells many stories about how the Kingdom of God is like a table full of food where everyone has a place to sit and eat. Think about how much of life happens over meal times, it’s unhurried, quality time with friends/family where the topic of conversation can go from the silliest to the deepest in a space of a breath. It’s a place for connection and rest, all while renewing your strength through good food.

Jesus is onto something here and we hope you’ll be able to explore this when you come to stay at the Kinahan Lodge.

From a recent meeting, looking at design options. Joy is a big part of everything we do as a team. I heard it said once that a smile can make your voice sound a touch more bright when talking on the phone or recording a message. It may not be quantifiable in the normal context of life but joy does leave a fingerprint on what is done. If it’s there it’ll probably go unnoticed. If it’s not there, people will feel the lack but not necessarily understand what’s missing.

All that to say, we hope you’re finding joy in whatever task is in front of you, whether it’s writing a screenplay, sitting in long government meetings, out on the mission field or being present with your kids.

These last few weeks have been a constant searching for toilets, showers, taps and sinks and I for one didn’t realise just how many options there are for these ordinary, every day, common thing. Seeing how many options there are has reminded me of just how unique every individual is down to the one of a kind fingerprint but also the creativity for seemingly mundane things like toilets and sinks.

A glimpse at one of our latest Kinahan Lodge meetings. Everything is about loos, showers, sinks and taps at the moment. And while we want something beautiful our main concern is what will bless YOU most in this ordinary setting of life. I like to call it design with a purpose.

Here's another angle of that sweet little garden on the edge of Kinahan Lodge. If you look closely, you can see the lodge through the archway. In summer, that arch is full of bright peach and pink roses. It's going to bless so many.

Another fun development that happened this last week was the creation of a little pond just near Kinahan Lodge. An incredible team came to volunteer their time in building the foundations for it along with our very own Sharon. We can't wait to see the outcome of it, especially as it's located right next to this beautiful garden on the edge of Kinahan Lodge.

Even though it's not feeling too much like spring around here, it's been incredible to walk around Kinahan Lodge this last week and notice that the orchard has bluebells springing up everywhere. Just one more reason why this place is going to be so restful and restorative to those who come when it's open.
