Our continued growth has generated the need for a Project / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Artium Construction team.

We are looking to hire a suitable individual with over 5-years' experience working in the construction building industry, this individual will report directly to the Commercial Manager of Artium Construction. This role provides an opportunity to work with a growing, high-performance team on exciting developments with a great company culture.

Roles & Responsibilities:
👉 Detailed pre-construction cost planning,
commercial management and procurement, and
tendering of subcontractor packages.

👉 Robust analysis of sub-contractor financials
and development of packages, valuations, and
payments to ensure best value delivery.

👉 Thorough cost management during
construction including cash flow forecasting,
valuations, value management, and cost
reporting.

👉 Day-to-day single point of contact for all
commercial matters for the client and
professional team.

👉 Efficient management of completion, final
account agreement, and commercial handover.

Salary and Benefits:
👉 We offer a base salary between £50,000
£60,000 relative to experience.
25-days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-
rata).
👉 Biannual bonus scheme.

Skills and Qualifications:
👉 Robust contract awareness and procedural
management.
G Excellent Design & Build contract experience.

👉 Strong numeracy skills and financial
management.

👉 Strong knowledge and experience of utilising
measurement and estimating software.

Artium are thrilled to announce the acquisition of the former Cathedral Choir School in Ripon, North Yorkshire. The development plans include converting this prominent building into four luxury four-bedroom townhouses.

Artium Construction will commence building works in Q2 2023. The 19th Century original grandstand building was previously converted into two semi-detached dwellings and extended for use as a Choir School. We are excited to bring the building back to its former glory!
