Cloudy by the sea today ☁️🌊

Not every day needs blue skies. Herne Bay is still a lovely place for a walk along the seafront, a wander into town, or a coffee somewhere warm before heading back to the house.

And the sea view is still pretty good, whatever the weather 😊

We have autumn and winter breaks available, including some short stays.

Herne Bay is a little quieter now and it’s a lovely time of year to come down for a few days 🌊

Wrap up for a walk along the seafront, grab some fish and chips, maybe stop for a drink somewhere, then head back to Jarrahdale and enjoy the sea views ☕🐶

This time of year is perfect for a trip to Reculver Towers & Roman Fort 🌊🍂

It’s only a short drive or a lovely, bracing walk from Jarrahdale and September is a lovely time to visit, especially now the summer crowds have started to disappear.

There are some great walks along the coast, plenty of space for the dogs 🐶 and the views are brilliant on a clear day.

Definitely worth adding to the list if you’re staying with us this autumn 😊

Dogs don’t ask for much on holiday 🐶🌊

A beach to run along, plenty of interesting things to sniff, somewhere comfy for a snooze afterwards, and ideally a bit of whatever you’re eating 😂

At Jarrahdale, dogs are very welcome and they stay for free. With the beach right outside and a private enclosed garden, they can enjoy their holiday too 🐾💙

September weekends seem to disappear far too quickly, but we’re starting the week with sea views, quieter beaches and hopefully a bit of sunshine ☀️

Friday has arrived, and September is treating us rather nicely so far 😊🌊

The summer crowds have eased, the beach is quieter, and there’s still plenty of time for a few sunny days by the sea ☀️

Perfect weather for a long beach walk, followed by fish and chips. Because walking definitely cancels out the chips 😂🐶

If you fancy swapping Christmas at home for Christmas by the sea, Jarrahdale Beach House is available for a festive stay this year 🌊🎅

We sleep up to 7, dogs are very welcome and you’ll have the beach right outside for those Christmas Day walks 🐶

Christmas dinner, sea views, a few drinks and absolutely no need to drive home afterwards sounds pretty good to us! 🥂🎄
