Lots of lovely treasures added to the shop floor this week for the Bank Holiday weekend. A beautiful Oak cased Edwardian large mantle clock ,a petite chic French carriage clock, both in excellent condition and good working order. Also a Victorian nursing/bedroom chair recently professionally upholstered and a shop full of both ornamental and functional period pieces. Why not take a trip down to the Sunny Old Village

Snug snug snug ... tanned leather, tartan backed, suede cushions with tartan bolsters so comfy both 1m deep the chair 140 cm wide the sofa 200 cm wide

Mahogany extending dining table with attractive marquetry edging, on a stretcher base with splayed side legs finished with Victorian brass claw feet. The extension has probably never been used so is the original finish which was darker the colouration of the table top has aged nicely but could be darkened back with polish there are a few marks but nothing really noticeable and as a whole it is in good sturdy & structural condition. Dimensions 140 cm wide + 40 cm extender. 80 cm deep, 74 cm high. Can be purchased with or without the lovely dining chairs. Check out on our website talkofthechine.com for prices

A few more treasures on the shop floor this week. Lovely Antique Brass & Copper Letterbox, early 1900's travelling Trunk in canvas and wood bounded by Barkers of Kensington. A very comfortable vintage sprung Parker Knoll Wingback in a nice warm shade of mustard yellow

Superb French Antique Marble and Brass coffee table , a very attractive sturdy piece to grace any home. Having Empire style legs with intricate chased decoration and a waved stretcher to the ornate brass base. The Marble top is Jasper Jaune with moulded edging sat on a pierced Brass apron.

A great timeless treasure dimensions 100 cm wide, 48 cm deep, 47 cm high.
