Of the eXp UK conference 2026!

Inspiring, brilliant, emotional, endearing, sad, exciting, jaw dropping, and, yes…..life changing

Each year, more and more people mention the words ‘life changing’…

And more and more also thank me directly for the opportunity

Which is lovely, and genuinely heartwarming for me ❤️

But I always reply….”it’s nothing to do with me - you were the one who built your business and, in turn, helped to build eXp in to what it has become in the UK, so no need to thank me. Thank you, for being a part of it…”

I was just the lone nut, dancing in the field on my own, taking a gamble that I could afford to take - no real bravery in that - all I had to lose was potentially a bit of reputation in the industry, and a bruised ego if it hadn’t worked 🤷🏻‍♂️

When you consider that 1000’s of agents have now taken that similar gamble, but with a lot more to lose than I ever did - that’s true bravery 🙏🏻

So again, thank you, firstly, to the suppliers and sponsors - your contribution to the agents’ businesses should not be underestimated 👊🏻

To the eXp staff, who leave their families for 3 nights, and work so hard for months behind the scenes, to put on the best, most agent-centric industry conference of the whole year ❤️

As an estate agent, one of the best things you can do is engage with your community, and a great way to start is by championing independent businesses.

I’m here at a local coffee shop, and it’s a brilliant opportunity to try a few things:

Collaborate: Interview the shop owners and help promote what they do on your channels.

Have some fun: Review the coffee (keep it positive!), and maybe tag team with them to post about each other's work.

Random acts of kindness: Try something like buying a coffee for the 15th person who walks through the door as a treat from your business.

When you promote your community, you get more eyeballs on your own business, too. By lifting others up, you quickly become the well-known local expert people turn to when they're ready to make a move. 🚀
