We’ve been so busy it seems like it’s been age’s since we last posted!

We’ve been back to our returning customer this time to give their staircase a new lease of life by replacing the old newels and hand rails with solid oak adding a sense of extra space and light into the hall way whilst also giving it a modern feel and matching the door’s we fitted last time 🙃

Purpose: To achieve a perfect, gap-free fit, particularly when installing cabinets, baseboards, molding, or countertops against uneven walls.
Process: The component (e.g., filler strip) is held securely in position. A marking tool—often a compass, pencil, or specialized scribe—follows the uneven surface while tracing the shape onto the workpiece.
Cutting & Finishing: The waste material is cut away, often with a jigsaw, and the edge is sometimes back-beveled for an even tighter fit, ensuring the front edge touches first.

We are extremely proud and excited to be apart of such a wonderful local charity for raising awareness in su***de for young teenager’s. Here at K-Kitchen’s we have decided to sponsor 10 books to go to Scissett Middle School (in Huddersfield) for any school pupil to have access to and read about different topics, ranging from social media bullying, divorce, bereavement and much more giving them a young person’s guide for good mental health care.

We will say we don’t normally do sponsoring but su***de rate’s are going up in not just teenager’s but adults as well and unfortunately we as family have been affected by su***de a few time’s and lost people we love so this is also something close to our heart’s 💓 So if these’s book’s only save one child’s life from su***de then it’s 100% worth it…..
