housing solutions for local authorities

We are currently housing clients in the Medway and South London areas. However we are continuously expanding our property portfolio rapidly moving forward with a view to help house the homeless over all areas of Kent and London. We work closely with Local authorities to provide good quality living and support for those who need it. We are a property management company working on a nightly let and

long term basis to meet the needs of homeless applicants. We have a variety of accommodations including houses of multiple occupancy (HMOs), one, two bed flats as well as three, four and five bed family houses.

1st Steps Housing has a dedicated staff team providing a high quality, reliable and friendly service to a diverse range of clients. We are experienced in providing quality housing and responding quickly in times of crisis, giving support in your hour of need.

New HMO's coming in Thamesmead next week so another really busy week on the cards and more places available for the people of London to lay their head.

Really busy week for 1st Steps this week and new team member Dayzee really earned her stripes.
Just goes to show that the Homechoice system works as lots of our tenants have been housed permanently this week.

January has been a really busy month for the team with several of our tenants getting housed in social housing meaning a quick turnaround of our housing stock so that we can offer a home to someone else.
We would like to welcome our new Property Manager Dayzee to the team from 1st February, she will be out and about visiting all the properties to make sure everything is in good order and everyone is happy.

Several of our tenants have been successful lately in finding permanent accommodation so we wish them well. Two more properties to refurbish and add to the 1st Steps portfolio to offer to homeless families - so many need help.

Busy time of year for our maintenance boys, making sure all the houses are safe and warm for tenants.

November was a really busy month for 1st Steps Housing Kent taking on another five properties! and three already tenanted. We are aiming to be able to provide a selection of properties to alleviate homelessness over the coming years.
