WE NEED YOU!

We are looking for a volunteer with administration skills who can demonstrate discretion and confidentiality to help our Chief Operating Officer with admin tasks. We need someone who is comfortable on the telephone, can file and scan documentation and organise confidential data. Part of this role will involve reasonable fitness to access our attic, with narrow staircase.

In return you get to join a friendly team of staff and volunteers who really value all volunteer help we get, plus you can be part of our work to reopen this important heritage site. We also offer free tea, coffee and biscuits. We promise you do not have to use a typewriter like those in the John Dickinson company typing pool image!

Whilst visiting a client in Apsley earlier in the week, I had a retro moment, when I came across these windows on a nearby building absolutely covered with these beautiful Jack Frost patterns on the different panes of glass.😀 This is probably a memory only for people of a certain age?! The days before double glazing….
