A major step forward for East Bank Urban Village .

We’ve submitted plans for the first phase of a new riverside neighbourhood in Hull — transforming a long-neglected part of the river into a modern place to live, work and connect.

Phase one includes:
- 37 affordable townhouses
- 78 affordable apartments
- New green spaces and active travel routes
- Improved connections across the River Hull

Designed with input from the local community, East Bank Urban Village will create an inclusive, sustainable neighbourhood that celebrates Hull’s heritage while looking firmly to the future. This milestone kick-starts the beginning of a 15-year vision for around 850 new homes.

East Bank Urban Village will create a sustainable new neighbourhood which, once complete, will deliver around 850 new homes on the bank of the River Hull opposite the city centre’s Old Town.
Over the next 15 years, East Bank will introduce a mix of affordable houses and Build-To-Rent (BTR) apartments alongside shops, restaurants, leisure and a transformed riverside with new green and public spaces.
