The longest promenade in the UK. Sad to see the steps at the harbour end gone. Have a lovely picture of me in a very smart coat with its velvet collar and a ribbon in my blonde ringlets taken on those steps. Still, time marches on and some work was needed. Looks like it will be quite a celebration.

The Kirkcaldy Prom Walk, which will take place on December 14 to welcome back the newly refurbished promenade is looking for volunteer marshals to help out at the event.

Still have availability during August for the Edinburgh Festival. Train journey from Kirkcaldy to Edinburgh featured in Great Railway Journeys on BBC, only 30mins into centre of Edinburgh, free parking at Kirkcaly railway station.
