This lovely stone farmhouse was being suffocated by cement render. We removed the render, repointed in CLM28 lime from Cornish Lime and hot lime limewashed. Looking forward to seeing it when the scaffolding comes down.

Cement render gone ! Replaced with lime render. Hotlime limewash applied. Just needs a black band of Beeck silicate pain...

We are currently repointing a lovely stone farmhouse near Launceston. In the spirit of folk-law customs we will be placing oak and holly sprigs in the wall cavity. In british folk-law these two trees represent a harmonious balance of the seasons ensuring the home will be protected all year round, both in times of warmth and abundance, and times of cold and darkness.
