👋 WELCOME BACK TO THE TEAM, GRANT! 🏗️💚

We’re really pleased to officially welcome Grant back to CS Complete Building Services Ltd as our new hands-on Site Manager.

Grant is no stranger to CS, having worked with us previously, so it’s great to have him back as the business enters its next stage of growth. He already knows the team, our standards and the way we work, making him a great fit for the role.

Grant brings a wealth of construction knowledge and experience, backed up by an NVQ Level 7 in Senior Construction Site Management.

His role will be a little different from a traditional Site Manager. Grant will be leading and managing our projects on site, organising the team and keeping jobs moving, while still being prepared to get on the tools and work alongside the lads when needed.

As CS continues to grow, strengthening the management of our sites is a big part of taking the business forward.

Grant will be working closely with Chris and the rest of the team to help us improve:

🔨 Site organisation and productivity
📋 Project programming and coordination
👷 Day-to-day management of our sites and trades
✅ Quality control and standards
🤝 Communication between the team, customers and projects

Having Grant in this role will also give Chris more time to focus on the bigger picture — bringing in new projects, developing the business and continuing to push CS Complete Building Services to the next level. 📈

We’ve got ambitious plans for the future, and getting the right people into the right roles is a massive part of making that happen.

🦍ROGUE ELITE FC A DECADE OLD.🦍

On the Eve of the new season, we Enter our 10th season as a Football Club.
Starting from a Sunday league team under our founding fathers Russ Norman and Cryil Miller winning leagues and cups. Then transioning into Saturday Football thanks to Josh Johnson Mark Barrett Mark Johnson and Gemma Good climbing The leagues.

The Football club has Come along way in 10 years. Won our fair share and made many memories along the way.

Come Join us at Jackies bar after our home fixture Vs Barrow Town Res to raise a glass or 2 for those who have made us grow and continue to help us progress.

🏠 FULL REFURBISHMENT – PROGRESS UPDATE 🏠

This project only started just over a week ago, and the progress already made has been fantastic.

So far, we have:

✅ Completed the first-fix electrical work throughout the property
✅ Fully removed the old lath and plaster from the original stud walls
✅ Insulated the stud walls to improve soundproofing between rooms
✅ Reboarded and prepared the walls where required
✅ Completed all plastering upstairs
✅ Overboarded the downstairs ceilings ready for plastering
✅ Bricked up the existing back door and side window
✅ Carried out further alterations, repairs and preparation throughout

The upstairs is now fully skimmed and ready for the next stage, while work continues downstairs with the remaining plastering, plumbing and preparation for the new kitchen and bathroom.

A huge thank you to the whole team for putting in the long hours and making such great progress in such a short space of time. Brilliant effort from everyone involved.

Plenty more to come as this full transformation continues.

🏠 NEW FULL PROPERTY REFURBISHMENT STARTED 🏠

We’ve now started work on another full refurbishment project in Leicestershire.

This property is being stripped right back before undergoing a complete transformation, with works including:

✅ Full internal strip-out
✅ Complete electrical rewire
✅ New plumbing and heating system
✅ New roof
✅ Replacement windows and external doors
✅ Brand-new kitchen
✅ Complete bathroom refurbishment
✅ Plastering, flooring and decoration throughout
✅ General repairs and improvements across the property

There’s plenty of work ahead, but the property has great potential and will be completely modernised from top to bottom.

We’ll be sharing regular progress updates as the project moves forward, from the initial strip-out through to the finished result.

🏗️ SAPCOTE ROAD EXTENSION – PROJECT UPDATE 🧱

Great progress is being made on our extension project at Sapcote Road.

Following the completion of the foundations, the team have now brought the brickwork and blockwork up to damp-proof course level. The DPC has been installed, and the external brickwork and internal blockwork are progressing well towards wall-plate height.

Cavity insulation is being installed progressively as the walls are raised, helping create a well-insulated and energy-efficient addition to the home.

The extension is now really beginning to take shape, with the footprint, internal layout and new window and door openings becoming much clearer.

The next stages will include completing the walls to wall-plate level, installing the required lintels, forming the remaining openings and preparing the structure for the new roof.

Another strong effort from the team, with close attention being paid to levels, detailing and quality of workmanship throughout. We’re looking forward to sharing the next stage as the project progresses towards being watertight.
