A great result for one of our latest extension projects.

The client wanted to create a new snug and sunroom area to relax and enjoy, while also making much better use of their sizeable garden.

For this one, the extension has been designed around a prefabricated building system, giving the project a slightly different approach from a more traditional build.

Because of the way the system is manufactured, the design had to be worked around set sizes and modules from the outset, making sure everything could come together properly once it reached site.

The new room will become a bright, comfortable addition to the home, extending the main living space and helping create a much stronger connection with the garden.

A really interesting project to be involved with and a great example of how there can be more than one way to approach an extension.

A great planning result for a recent project.

Not just a new planning application, this also included retrospectively regularising an existing rear extension that had been completed previously, while at the same time securing approval for a new first floor extension directly above.

The new first floor extension will now build on the extra space achieved from the existing extension, creating an additional bedroom, forming a much larger and more spacious master bedroom with en-suite. This makes far better use of the space available and gives the family even more flexibility within the home.

It was a real relief for the clients to have the existing extension properly regularised, and even better to have the next stage approved at the same time so they can now move forward with everything in place.

A really positive result for the clients and one we are very pleased to have helped move forward.

Something a little different for one of our latest rear extension projects.

Planning permission has now been secured for a scheme designed to give the client the character and light of an orangery, while still creating a proper extension that forms part of the home.

The existing conservatory will be replaced with a much larger rear extension, opening up into a bright new open-plan living area that can be enjoyed properly all year round.

Lots of glazing was a big part of the brief, with large bi-fold doors, glazed side panels and two roof lanterns helping to flood the new space with natural light.

The end result should give the client the best of both worlds. All the character and light of an orangery, but with the comfort and practicality of an extension that feels like a genuine part of the home.

A really exciting project to be involved with and one we are very much looking forward to seeing move forward.

A really nice project to share, with planning now approved for a new single storey side extension.

The new space will create a much larger living area, together with a new dressing room and en-suite, while the existing kitchen and dining space will also be opened up to create a much more connected layout.

The extension will also bring in more natural light through new French doors and rooflights, helping the new living space feel bright, open and connected to the garden.

What works really well with this one is that the extension does more than simply add another room. It allows several parts of the existing layout to be reworked at the same time, helping the property work much better as a whole.

A project that will completely change how this home works, both front and back.

Planning consent has now been secured for a new side and rear extension, with the proposals focused on making much better use of the space.

To the side, the new extension will create a completely new entrance into the home, alongside a useful utility area and integral garage. At the rear, a new infill extension will open up the existing layout to create a much brighter dining space, with a large roof lantern bringing plenty natural light in.

This project was more than just adding extra flor space. The entrance is completely rethought, the practical areas of the house are improved and the rear becomes a much more enjoyable space to use day to day.

A really interesting project to be involved with and one we are looking forward to seeing take shape.

A lot more than just a side extension.

Planning consent has now been secured for a project that will make much better use of the space across both floors of the property.

At ground floor level, the existing side additions will be replaced with a new infill extension, creating flexible additional living space together with a new shower room and utility area.

Upstairs is where the biggest change happens. The existing dormer arrangement will be extended and reworked to create a much more generous main bedroom, complete with a new en-suite and walk-in wardrobe.

It is a really good example of how an extension does not always need to be huge to make a big difference. By looking at the existing layout as a whole, the additional space can be used where it is actually needed and completely change how the home works.

A huge transformation for one of our completed rear extension projects.

The new extension has completely opened up the back of the house, creating a bright open-plan kitchen and dining space that now feels much more connected to the garden.

The large bi-fold doors make a real difference, bringing in plenty of light and helping the whole space feel open and sociable. It is now a brilliant area for everyday family life, but also perfect for entertaining when friends and family are over.

The before and after photos really show just how much this project has changed the home.

A great result and one we are really pleased to have been involved with.

Planning consent has recently been secured for a new single storey side extension.

The extension will allow the rear of the property to be opened up, creating a much larger kitchen and snug area for the family to enjoy. The additional space will also allow the existing layout to be reworked, forming a separate utility, new WC and a new master bedroom with en-suite.

Rather than simply adding another room to the side of the house, the proposals will help make much better use of the ground floor as a whole, creating a more practical layout and improving how the different areas connect with one another.

Another project ready to take the next step, with Building Control approval now secured.

The new rear extension will replace the existing conservatory and create a bright snug and dining area that feels properly connected to the kitchen and the rest of the home.

With a vaulted ceiling and roof windows bringing in plenty of natural light, the new space will feel far more open and enjoyable to use throughout the year.

Reaching Building Control approval means the design has now been worked through in the detail and the home owner and builder can confidently commence construction.

A side extension with plenty of character and a layout designed around how the home is actually used.

Planning Approval has now been secured for a new single storey side extension, replacing the existing conservatory and lean to, making far better use of space.

What will now be created is a practical utility and boot room, a dedicated tack room, new WC and additional storage. The internal layout will also be opened up to form a larger lounge/play area, while creating a much better flow through the house.

A really interesting project to work on and one that will make a big difference to day-to-day family life.
