The economic events of recent months have prompted plenty of to-ing and fro-ing in the housing market.

Phillip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as i whispered that "I know"

I then turned and looked behind me,
and seen I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.

I gently touched each shoulder,
with Phillip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.

Phillip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King's and Queens,
are Monarch's every day.

I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.

I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.

Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.

If your home is on the market, youโ€™re probably in a constant state of anticipation. Will this viewing be the one? Are you going to get your asking price? Will you need to accept a lower offer?

A good agent should produce a detailed, accurate listing with clearly marked floor plans, photographs and key factors outlined. This includes information such as proximity to schools, transport links, potential to extend and other selling points.

As well as being listed online, estate agents should proactively contact potential buyers and sing your propertyโ€™s praises. Youโ€™ll also want the listing placed in their shop front window for maximum exposure.

While this could be a response to a genuine lack of interest, it may also be a lazy way to sell your home quickly. Itโ€™s easy to check sold prices online, so make sure you do.

Are they engaged and knowledgeable? Can they answer the buyerโ€™s questions? If not, maybe it is time to switch.

A good agent will be passionate and keen to sell. They should be able to talk about the specifics of your home and easily answer questions (or offer to get the information as soon as possible if they canโ€™t).
