🏛️ Preserving Character. Improving Comfort.

Heritage and conservation properties are full of character, but their original windows can often be a significant source of heat loss.

Flutter Shutter™ provides a sympathetic way to improve thermal performance without removing or replacing the features that make a building special.

Installed internally, our made-to-measure plantation shutters and transparent thermal roller work with the existing window to help:

✅ Reduce heat loss through windows by up to 70%
✅ Support improvements to EPC ratings
✅ Retain original and historic windows
✅ Preserve the external appearance of the property
✅ Improve comfort without intrusive building work
✅ Provide summer solar shading and winter insulation

The system uses minimal but robust fixings and is fully reversible, making it particularly well suited to listed buildings, conservation areas and other architecturally sensitive properties.

Traditional character, protected. Modern performance, added.

✨ Keep Your Flutter Shutter™ Looking Beautiful

A little regular care will help keep your shutters and clear PVC thermal roller in excellent condition for years to come.

Follow these simple maintenance tips:

🧹 Regularly dust the shutter louvres using a soft, dry microfibre cloth or duster.

🧼 To clean the shutters, lightly dampen a microfibre cloth with warm water and a mild detergent. Gently wipe each slat and the frame.

💧 Clean the clear PVC roller using a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Rinse with clean water and dry it fully with a soft cloth before rolling it back up.

🚫 Do not use window cleaner, abrasive cloths, harsh chemicals or strong cleaning products, as these may damage the shutters or PVC roller.

Remember: keep the clear roller raised during the summer months and lowered during winter to benefit from its thermal insulation.

Simple care. Lasting quality. Beautiful shutters.
