We did the works:

➡ New kitchen and bathroom
➡ New carpets
➡ Plastered, painted, wallpapered
➡ Dado rails added for character

Yes, it was a full upgrade, but one with purpose.

This property used to be a standard rental. Decent setup, but underperforming.

With the right changes, we repositioned it completely. It now stands out on Airbnb and Booking.com 💡

Most landlords think boosting returns means throwing money at upgrades. New furniture, full refurb, fancy features.

But in reality, there are small, strategic shifts you can make right now… without spending a penny 💡

Most of them read like technical specs. “2-bed flat with one bath.” But people buy with emotion first, so lead with that.

Swap “2-bedroom flat” for “a peaceful space to unwind after a day exploring the city”

It’s a small copy tweak, but it can seriously boost clicks. 📈

2️⃣ Photos.

Ask yourself: do they tell a story, or just show a room?

You don’t need a professional shoot to do better here. Just reorder them. Start with lifestyle shots, someone sipping coffee by the window, or a cosy corner with warm lighting.

That subtle shift helps people imagine themselves in the space, not just looking at it.

3️⃣ Booking flexibility.

This one’s overlooked.

Opening up mid-week stays, offering early check-in, or allowing pets. None of that costs you anything, but it widens your potential guest pool.
