Quality porch completed ✔️

We knocked down the old small porch and replaced it with a much larger bespoke entrance, giving the property a far more practical and welcoming space.

Built using a solid timber frame, finished with a natural slate roof, black rainwater goods and silicone render to tie in perfectly with the existing cottage.

Inside, the porch has been fully ply-lined for durability and everyday use — ideal for muddy boots, coats and keeping the dogs clean and dry before heading into the house 🐾

We also installed eco drains internally, as the property sits right beside a stream which can overflow during heavy weather, helping manage any surface water and keep the space protected.

A great mix of character, practicality and long-term durability 👌

☆Exciting news☆

We are a new construction company based in Llandrindod Wells that will cover all of Wales and West England. We focus on renovations, new build developments and larger construction projects.

With over 30 years of combined experience myself, Daniel Oakley who runs D Oakley Bricklaying and General Building and Jake Bishop who runs J.B. Carpentry have decided to start a separate business together focusing on renovations and larger projects and developments such as

● Conversions
● New builds
● Renovations (full property or partial)

We've both been working together on some bigger projects recently and share the same passion and high standard of work, so we decided to combine our skills and set up this new company for all the bigger renovations and house building developments.
