It all started with a 2-bed open-plan living kitchen - just like this one - where buyers couldn’t visualise how to use the space.
No one could see how to make the layout flow (especially when it’s long and narrow).

Yes, whilst a refurb is incredibly important and it needs to be good quality, we’re seeing a lot of ‘overcooked’ refurbs right now… 🍳

I still remember when my mum used to bring home Good Housekeeping every month — I’d flick through the glossy pages, obsessed with the interiors and dream homes inside. 🏡✨

So to be featured in it myself this month feels like one of those full-circle moments I’ll never forget 💫

In the article, I shared one of my favourite (and often overlooked) home-staging secrets:
👉 The hallway sets the tone.

It’s the first thing buyers see, and those first few seconds matter.
A chic runner rug, a console table with a vase and mirror above, and a subtle diffuser instantly make people feel like they’re walking into something special.

And if your front door opens straight into your living room?

That’s exactly why we staged this large £1.1M home — so instead of feeling too big and confusing, buyers could instantly see themselves living there.
