Last week, Kineara hosted the Better Together Community Expo at Henry Fawcett Children’s Centre, bringing housing, employment, legal, mental health, and wellbeing services all under one roof for Lambeth residents.
The event was a buzzing success as attendees reported feeling supported, informed and empowered to take steps towards housing stability and well-being, and found interacting with services meaningful.
The event also sparked conversations and possibilities of deeper collaboration between partners including London Borough of Lambeth, The Gaia Centre, The Skills Spot, Home-Start Lambeth, 999 Club, MI Skills Development Centre, Better Start, Jubilee Primary School and Children's Centre, Henry Fawcett Primary School and Children's Centre, Lambeth and Croydon Food Bank, The Baytree Centre, Southwark Law Centre, Safer Rent, Depaul UK, Joshy Boy Legacy and others, all working together to support communities better.
A heartfelt thank you to all our partners and residents for their presence, and support in creating a fruitful event and moving a step closer to productive, meaningful collaborations that bring about positive change.
