Hello! I’m Steve Cook, a nice guy AND an estate agent ☺️ It’s true! People often say that I’m the opposite of what they expect and a refreshing change.
I haven’t done this before and connect with new people all the time on social media and in person 👋🏻 So here’s a bit about me:
5 fun facts - and then please share something fun about you!
1️⃣ I was born near Oxford, grew up in both Hampshire and Yorkshire and lived in Orlando, Florida ☀️🌴🐬 for 3 years where I met my lovely wife, Laura, before moving back to the UK.
2️⃣ I have worked in property for almost 20 years, starting out at my parent’s agency in the Midlands after leaving school/college - and I’m still in my 30s! 🤓
3️⃣ I worked for a couple of boutique estate agents for many years in South West and Prime Central London and it’s where I have always lived during my 10+ years in London.
4️⃣ I’m the founder and co-owner of with my wife Laura. We started this estate agency in 2016 with the intention of doing things differently - a hybrid agency giving flexibility for everyone to work remotely whilst real people take care of the in-person aspects of selling, renting and managing London property. 💻 📲 👫
5️⃣ Our company name, Maplewood, originates in part from Laura being Canadian. 🇨🇦 We both love to travel and the dream is to do this more. 😎 We were recently in France for a wedding and there is nothing better than being able to run your business from wherever you are in the world. 🌎🌍🌏
