Let’s talk facts! Did you know that UK housing rules limit how many people can live in a property?

💡 According to housing laws:
🛏️ 1 person = min. 6.51 m² (about the size of a small bedroom)
👩👧 2 people sharing = min. 10.22 m²
🚪 Shared spaces (kitchen, bathroom, etc.) also count toward the total

If too many people are crammed into a small flat, it could be considered overcrowded—which is illegal and unsafe. Plus, landlords need a HMO licence if there are 3+ tenants from different households.
