A much-loved coastal pub just a stoneβs throw from the beach has been awarded the highest possible food hygiene rating.
Wisemans Bridge Inn, near Saundersfoot, received a five-star rating following a recent inspection, with strong marks for food handling, cleanliness and food safety management.
But for visitors to Pembrokeshire, thereβs another big reason to add this place to the listβ¦ just look at the location! π
The traditional pub sits beside Wisemanβs Bridge beach, between Saundersfoot and Amroth, with beautiful views across Carmarthen Bay and a b**r garden stretching down towards the seafront.
It also makes a brilliant stop on a coastal walk. The old tramway route towards Saundersfoot hugs the coast and passes through a series of historic tunnels once used to carry coal to the harbour, while the Pembrokeshire Coast Path also runs through the bay. πΆββοΈπ
Visitors can stop for food or a drink overlooking the sea, while those wanting to stay longer can also book accommodation nearby.
A walk through the tunnels, a wander along the beach and something to eat overlooking the seaβ¦sounds like the perfect Pembrokeshire afternoon to us. β€οΈ
