This is the bit that can easily get missed when accommodation is chosen on room price alone.

A cheaper stay can mean a longer journey every morning, another long drive after work, awkward parking or a location that simply does not suit the project.

Before booking accommodation for a team, we would always look at the full picture, not just the nightly rate.

Four contractors could stay here. But forget the cushions and the pretty photos for a second.

If you are working away for days or weeks, the things that matter most are usually much more practical.

Where can the van go?
Does everyone have the right bed setup?
Can you cook properly?
Can you wash work clothes?
Is there somewhere to sit and eat?
And after a long day, is there somewhere to actually switch off?

That is what we look at when we think about a stay for working guests.

Turns out, contractors don’t ask for much. 😂

Just give them a proper kitchen, somewhere comfortable to sit, and a bed they actually look forward to getting into after a long day.
