A Little Apology… And An Explanation ❤️
Ladies and gentlemen, we owe you a little apology!
We're not the best at keeping this page updated, and if we're being completely honest… we're a little bit technophobe! 😂
We're tradespeople — not photographers, social media managers or professional content creators!
We're painters and decorators, joiners and roofers. We like picking up our tools, getting stuck into a job and seeing the finished result. Taking photographs, remembering to send reports, uploading jobs and keeping Facebook constantly updated… well, let's just say it doesn't always make it to the top of our list! 🤦♀️😂
In fact, sometimes we're subcontracted and even we get reminded:
"Don't forget your report."
"Can you send some pictures?"
And we're like… yep, absolutely!
Then five minutes later we've forgotten. 😂
I'm probably just as bad as Steve, if not worse some days!
And when I do remember to take a photograph, there's a very good chance it looks absolutely shocking. 😂
So every now and again, you'll probably get Facebook spammed for a couple of hours while I suddenly remember all the jobs we've done and throw a load of pictures onto the page! 😂
But here's the thing…
We genuinely don't spend much time on social media.
We're busy working. We're busy with customers. We're busy with the million and one little things that come with running a trade business.
And we're also involved in helping people within our community where we can — particularly people who are vulnerable or who simply need someone they can trust.
Some of those things you'll never see on Facebook.
Not because we're hiding them, but because some people's circumstances aren't ours to share.
There are people we help behind the scenes who don't want their lives, homes or situations put online, and we completely respect that.
Sometimes helping someone is as simple as sorting out something in their home, finding a solution to a problem, making something safer or more familiar for them, or simply sitting down with them over a cup of tea and having a chat.
And yes… the cup of tea is absolutely part of the job! 😂☕
Next week, for example, I'm off looking for some trims to finish adapting a wardrobe for a lady. Because of her circumstances, things need to remain as familiar to her as possible, so we're taking the time to find a solution that looks as close as we can get it to what she's used to.
That's the sort of work that matters to us too.
It's not always about the photograph.
It's about the person.
So please don't judge us by the amount of content on this page. 😂

We will continue to share our work when we can, but we're never going to pretend we're something we're not.
We're tradespeople. We work with our hands, not our phones! 😂
And we'd actually love to use this page for something a little different too.
We want to start giving a shout-out to local businesses and tradespeople we genuinely recommend, especially those who go that extra mile for people in our community.
We've already got some fantastic people we can recommend — from plumbers and rubbish removal to cleaning and care services — and we'd love this page to become somewhere people can find good, trustworthy local businesses.

Because sometimes knowing the right person to call is worth far more than another Facebook post. ❤️
