A carefully considered extension designed to balance modern architecture with a warm, homely feel.

By opening up the rear and side of the property, we created a fully open-plan layout centred around light, flow, and connection to the garden.

Full-height wrap-around glazing, black aluminium detailing, and external cladding deliver a clean, contemporary finish — while inside, underfloor heating, a matt grey kitchen, quartz worktops, and subtle panelling soften the space.

The continuous flooring, running from the original home through to the patio, ties everything together — respecting the cottage character while elevating it to a luxury standard.

From THIS to THIS 😍 Swipe to see! At this project in Birchington we demolished the existing conservatory, outside toilet and garage to make room for this usable extension. We built the new extension in a yellow stock brick to match the existing bricks on the house to keep it looking its original style. The extension has a lounge, Shower room and utility room inside which all makes the customers living space work for them. With plenty of windows and an electric opening velux window the place is flooded with natural light! On the exterior we installed a dye concrete patio, which is such an amazing process and the finish is unreal. A long with the small fences and gates installed it really sections off this part of the garden and just gives it a wow it deserves! Finally the lean too on the side, with a new cladded, insulated and plaster boarded wall on the end of it and a garage door the other end it has now turned this existing lean too into a purpose use garage area. Overall very happy with how this job has turned out!

From this… to THIS😍 we converted this garden building into a usable space all year round. From a garden pagoda this didn’t get used for 7 months of the year into this space which is useable for guests to stay all year round. Fully insulted with a full electrical installation and air conditioning. What more could you want 🤩

EMERGENCY CALL OUT 🆘 This gable has blown through and down into the neighbours alley way. This happened due to wind and was at early hours in the morning which as you could imagine was quite a shock to the customers. We are now clearing all the rubble to expose all the damage and temporary weather proof the exposed opening. We will then put a scaffolding up and rebuild the damage once access, not what you want on a Friday!
