Property & Entrepreneur Summit today! ✨

My brains is at full capacity after the event but here’s a few take aways …

Firstly opened my eyes to the Rule of 375. When it’s put quite simply, it makes a lot of sense to work out how much you want to retire on and then work backwards to figure out how much you need to be earning a year. Safe to say I want to aim high so we’ve got a lot of work to do 💪🏼

After lunch we had the wonderful reminding us all how time is so much more valuable than money. Having a balance in life and allowing myself to rest is not something I’m good at currently and her talk definitely set straight my priorities! 🫶🏼

Concrete beam and block floor … looks simple, right? 🧐

I visited one of the sites today to have a look at their progress and learn more about the construction progress from the guys on site 👷‍♂️

This one’s a SIPs build which has meant the process of the build has been adapted to suit the materials being used 🧱

Concrete beam and block floor has been installed now. 215mm block are now going into place ready for the SIPs structure to fit on top.

The scaffolding is due to go up next week. All of the scaffolding is being put up straight away and the SIPs panels are then being craned over the top 🏗️

The SIPs panels are due to be delivered in a couple of weeks time so it’s imperative that everything is ready onsite for the delivery to avoid slowing anything down! ⏰

There is so much that goes into these floors to ensure there’s no build up of radon gas, the underfloor drainage is in place, the materials have been tested to ensure they can hold the intended weight being applied and the structure is going to stand up against potential ground movement (e.g. in clay) as well as prevent any damp from seeping through the blocks

Never thought I’d find concrete so interesting! Living my best life 💃

Today’s antics ✨

Started off the morning driving up to Hathersage in the Peak District to meet for a walk and got to see all the amazing work he’s put into his SA! Go and have a nosey at his account, some really valuable information on there 👏🏻

Spent the rest of the afternoon going through the training videos and setting clear goals for both myself development and business 📈

My diary has been organised and time blocked to ensure I know what I’m cracking on with tomorrow so I can keep a clear headspace to be able to work towards my goals everyday 🚀

Remember those gorgeous trenches? 👀

Here’s a little update …

✅Concrete poured (more than anticipated)
✅Foundation blocks in
✅Underground drainage in the floor
✅Concrete beams in
☑️Now infilling with the blocks (so far approx 1000 blocks laid in the last 2 days)

Issues with the trenches meant that, not only was more concrete required than originally anticipated but, the concrete pour was spread across 2 days and the concrete pump had to come back onto site

No flashy reels today … the reality of it is that I’ve been cursing my wisdom tooth for the last few days and hiding my swollen hamster cheek from the world 🐹 and we’ve been behind the scenes running numbers on deals

One big thing we’ve had to remind ourselves of recently is to ALWAYS focus on the numbers and never let emotion take over!

The commercial viewing we had last week was a property that had links with us because it used to be the vets that we took our dogs to BUT the numbers didn’t quite stack like we hoped they would.

It doesn’t mean it’s a definite “no”… we’re waiting to hear back from the utility connections on costs and we’ll see what our offer will be.

On top of that we’ve got a few properties booked in to view for either a flip or BRRR project so we’re all systems go … just haven’t got any content to make it look jazzy!! ✨

It’s all love here … let me explain! 🫶🏼

Anyone have a fear of failing? Or even worse … people seeing you fail? 👀

Well I heard some advise over the weekend and it reminded me of times when I doubted myself and was terrified to document too much of what I was doing because everyone could potentially see me fail.

Think about what you pay attention to. When your friends and family go through hiccups in life, do you remember that and make judgements? 🤷🏼‍♀️

When you’re scrolling through instagram, do you analyse everyone’s posts and criticise or do you simply keep scrolling? 🤔

Everyone is focusing on themselves, they don’t have the awareness to judge you or your level of success.

Part of the journey is making mistakes and learning from them. Nothing is plain sailing and that’s the beauty of it; you can’t have the ups without the downs. ✨

You have nothing to lose by putting yourself out there in order to better yourself and your business.

Being yourself and don’t be afraid to show your journey! 🙌🏼

This weekend was spent in Manchester to attend the event 🐝

A huge thank you to and for organising and hosting the event! 🫶🏼

The evening started off with a talk from about how to get more clients to say “yes” followed by discussing her social media hacks and the benefits of social media for property investors 🙌🏼

After some food and networking, we then heard from an expert property panel which consisted of , and 🔥

We’ve come away with a phone full of notes feeling inspired to get some more work done thanks to listening to some amazing speakers and making some amazing new connections! 🚀
