Visiting Newcastle with family? Don’t miss Ouseburn Farm 🐐

Just a few minutes from the city centre, this lovely free-entry city farm is home to goats, pigs, sheep, chickens and more, making it a perfect family day out. 🐔🐑

Now a registered charity, Ouseburn Farm welcomes over 40,000 visitors a year, helping people learn about food, nature and farm life. It also does amazing work as a care farm, supporting adults with learning disabilities, difficulties and ASD through meaningful activities in the farmyard, gardens, kitchen, café and visitor centre.

We can finally share a little sneak peek of our newest Newcastle property 👀✨

We’ve been busy with a full renovation for months and still have a few weeks to go, but it’s finally starting to come together!

You can already start getting excited for the hot tub room, all-weather outdoor seating with a fire pit, pool table, 4 bedrooms and space for up to 9 guests… this one is going to be a good one 🔥

Would you recognise our Hot Tub Apartment in Newcastle? 👀🛁 Swipe for a proper before ➜ after look back ✨

We own all our properties, and when we renovate, we go full top-to-bottom — not a quick refresh. We also delivered most of the work in-house with our own team 🔨

This project included a full rewire and electrics upgrade, a brand-new central heating system, and a complete strip-out and clearance. We replastered and redecorated throughout, upgraded the flooring with new underlay and finishes, and brought the original parquet floor back to life with a full sand and varnish ✨

We reworked the layout to create a built-in bedroom en-suite, fitted new front doors, and completed new kitchen and bathrooms. We also built a media wall to elevate the living space.

Outside, we transformed the garden with composite decking, a polycarbonate roof/pergola, and a full reconfiguration to create a private, usable guest space. 🙏🏼

It was a lot of work, but worth it 🙌🏼
