We’re so excited to introduce our new handmade Concierge Book, created with lots of love by the owner especially for our guests staying in Bliss Cottage and Writers Den. 🏡❤️

Inside, guests will find a little glimpse into the story of Knock Grena, some of its fascinating history, and the history of our beautiful town of Nairn. 🌿📜

We’ve also included our own recommendations of places to visit, things to see and local favourites, helping our guests make the most of their time here in the Scottish Highlands. 🏔️🌊

The sun is rising over the estate, the birds are singing, and another peaceful Highland day is beginning. 🏡🌳☀️

Both of our cottages are currently welcoming lovely guests, and it makes us so happy to know they are enjoying the peace, nature, and charm that make Knock Grena so special. ❤️

Whether it's a morning stroll through the grounds, relaxing with a coffee in the garden, or simply taking in the fresh Highland air, there's something magical about slowing down and embracing the beauty around us. 🌿🦌🐿️

🐴✨ A VERY WARM WELCOME TO OUR NEW ESTATE RESIDENTS! ✨🐴

We’re delighted to introduce you to the newest additions to Knock Grena Estate — these two beautiful ponies! 🥰🐴

They have settled into their new home in a paddock in the meadow just past the Main House, where our guests can enjoy seeing them while exploring the estate. 🌿🏡

They’re already looking very happy, peacefully grazing away and enjoying their beautiful Highland surroundings. ❤️

We think they’re going to be a lovely addition to Knock Grena and we can’t wait for our guests to meet them! 🐴🌳

🌿 Behind the Scenes at Knock Grena 🌿

A little glimpse behind the scenes of some of the work going on around the cottages! 🏡✨

We’ve given some of the old trees from the estate a new lease of life by turning sections of the trunks into beautiful rustic planters for outside the cottages. 🌳➡️🌿

The trees sadly had to be taken down, but rather than letting the timber go to waste, we thought we’d make something useful and beautiful from them. We love the natural, rustic look and how they fit in perfectly with the character of the estate. 💚

It’s all about reusing, recycling and giving things a new purpose here at Knock Grena. 🌿♻️

There’s something rather special about Saturday mornings here at Knock Grena — the estate slowly waking up, the birds singing, the fresh Highland air and, hopefully, a little sunshine peeking through. 🐦🌳

After all the hard work and busy days, it’s lovely to take a moment to appreciate this beautiful place we are lucky enough to call home. 🏡✨
