Our busiest summer season is over, and with that we said our goodbyes to three of our cleaners. 🍁🍂 Thank you so much to Alex, Lucy and Joe. It was an absolute pleasure working with you and getting to know you all! 🧡

We are now looking for people who would be available at least once a week, on a self-employed basis.

Work is now only on Monday, Friday and Saturdays, but more work could become available on other days.

What matters most to us is that you have the right mindset. We value reliability, dedication, high attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

A £60 job isn’t £60 in a business owners pocket!

This is something we wish customers would understand when enquiring into a service.

The customer sees you show up, do the work and leave.

They don’t see the drive time. The fuel. The time loading and unloading. The maintenance. The repairs. The insurance. The estimates you drove out to that never turned into jobs. The scheduling, invoicing, payment fees and taxes or paying staff.

They definitely don’t see the money you have to set aside because eventually that machine, tool, van or whatever you use to make money will need to be repaired or replaced.

There also needs to be profit left when everything is paid for, otherwise what's the point 🤷

Understandably people want something for as cheap as possible, especially in this day and age!
But there's a fine line between cheap and not having to pay twice!

At There's No Place Like Home Cleaning Services we do our best to keep our prices reasonable and fair whilst still being able to make a profit.

Please remember that £200 - £300 a day is nothing for a small business to keep their head above the water, to keep that business alive without going under.

You are paying for more than a service!
You are paying for a professional trained in their field
A professional that is insured
A professional that is DBS Checked
A professional that has invested highly in their business with the best equipment and tools to deliver a result that shows dedication.

Never ending!! 🤷‍♀️

All cleaning was finished by 4.30PM but I've still got a van full of dirty linen to unload in the rain☔️ and prep for Saturday and Sunday cleans, then go home and wash all the cloths, bath mats and tea towels from every property. Never a dull moment here! 🤣

Throwback Thursday thoughts🤔... I shared this post last year, but thought I'd re post it.

This summer has taught me that airbnb guests can be distasteful, disgusting and disrespectful to both us cleaners, and the property owners.

🤮Why would you leave a property in this state?🤮

⚠️The last picture is of a mug filled with sanitary pads, so skip the last photo if you don't want to see it. 🤣

Despite this, we do our very best to turnaround the property in the allotted time and leave it immaculate and smelling fresh for the next guests. 🤩

Let's be real, most of the properties that we clean get lovely guests, but a select few seems to attract the undesirable crowd. 🤷‍♀️
