Just finished a very awkward job fitting some studwork around a window bay and installing insulation at the same time.

Old buildings look great but need to be respected when renovating to prevent heart break futher down the line! This was a prime example as the stone surrounding the window was beautiful sandstone that would have been ruined if the studwork had been simply attatched to it. Instead we did our best to strap the studwork to other parts of the wall to make sure the structure was strong while preserving the stone underneath.
