Last job of the weekend 😮‍💨😮‍💨

So after that monster prep we completed on this extension and existing kitchen we were able to get the LVT fit and finished yesterday for our customer

They chose Karndean Van Gogh Parquet in the Neutral Brushed Oak to compliment the new kitchen they’ve had installed and it looks amazing!

This one will look outstanding once all the wood work and decorating has been completed!

Been a busy couple days for the lads at the back end of the week

We’ve done 6 rooms across 3 different school in Washington for Jamie Lewis Joinery New Jamie Lewis

Mixture of Burmatex Tivoli carpet tiles, Polyflor Forest FX and Polysafe standard vinyls.

Jesus this took some doing!!

We got the call from a friend in the Sunderland area to screed and fit Karndean LVT to their existing kitchen and new extension,

We took the job on and arrived ready to prep up before fitting, using an Epoxy DPM for the new concrete pour, a Gritty Primer and Ardex NA screed for over ceramic tiles to give a perfect laying surface,

When we arrived the new extension was between 400mm-500mm lower than the existing subfloor 🤯🤯 with gaps between new slab and existing subfloor.

So we had to double the screed amount required and order 20+ bags of aggregate to lift the full extension floor to suitable level before give the whole subfloor a top coat!

Took a hell of a lot of prep? A s**t tonne of screed and aggregate and a mixing paddle that nearly packed in on us, we managed to get this 1 to where it needs to be so the kitchen can be installed and flooring done in a few weeks time!

Brutal but always try to do our best for our customers!!

Full stair case, landing and hallway done for a repeat customer in a nice striped carpet.

Subfloor in the hallway was replaced by Jamie Lewis Joinery New on this 1 and it’s made a massive difference!!

Customer was over the moon with this 1.

Tied a returning customers flooring in while down there, we had already fit a good amount of Karndean planking through the downstairs,

This time it was Karndean Parquet to a lovely extension they’ve had built!

We literally do cover the whole of the uk 😂😂

That’s a Wrap!!

Been on Guernsey since Wednesday morning and we’ve just finished this Iceland Food Warehouse refurb with time to spare, plus an extra couple of jobs for the client in-between!!

800m2 from Wednesday to Saturday morning isn’t bad going if you ask me.

We agreed to this job on the premise the whole floor space was empty, turn up to all the new racking and shelving installed 🫣

But we always do what we agree!!

Full downstairs in Boldon last week, full subfloor prep using a flexible screed ready to fit a custom designed Amtico herringbone LVT,

Customer picked a colour that wasn’t readily available, we contacted Amtico and had this made to order!

Once all the woodwork and countertops are installed it’ll look great!!
