🎨 MYTH-BUSTING MONDAY! 🎨

❌ MYTH: “One coat of paint is always enough.”

It might look covered after the first coat, but that doesn’t always mean the job is finished! 👀

We recommend at least 2 coats of paint because it helps to give you:

✨ Better, more even coverage
🎨 A richer and more consistent colour
💪 A stronger, more durable finish
👌 Less chance of patches or the old colour showing through

The first coat creates the base, while the second helps give you that smooth, professional finish you’re looking for.

Ever picked the perfect paint colour from a swatch… only for it to look completely different once it’s on the wall? 😅

And why is that?
Well there are a few reasons why this happens!

💡 Lighting – Natural daylight, warm bulbs and cool
bulbs can all change how a colour appears.

☀️ Time of day – A colour can look completely
different in the morning compared to the evening
as the light changes.

🧱 The surface underneath – The existing wall colour
and whether you’re painting over a light or dark
shade can affect the finished look.

✨ Paint finish – Matt, eggshell and satin finishes
reflect light differently, which can change how
the colour appears.

Our tip? Always test a sample on the actual wall first and check it at different times of the day before committing to the full room! 👌🎨

A little test patch can save a big change of heart later! 😂
