One thing people worry about with colour drenching is that it can make a room feel flat, but this is exactly where panelling and architectural detail come into their own.
The mouldings, coving, fireplace and built-in cabinetry create light, shadow and depth, despite everything being painted in the same shade.
We began with a white mist coat before colour drenching the entire room in Pantalon by Farrow & Ball. The result feels warm, dramatic and full of character.
