If you are looking for work similar to this before the winter sets in, please get in touch.

The wood was hand sanded back to bare wood, a pre-stain treatment was applied along with 3 coats of premium rosewood stain. Some areas required a rot stop treatment then filled with a premium exterior filler, looking good as new.

A small decorating job in the household main entrance, I repaired the water ingress around the downlight fitting with plasterboard replacement, also general repairs to walls and ceiling. The customer was pleased with when i repaired all the protruding stud wall fixings that happen over time.

I was contacted by this customer to discuss options with the fireplace tiling before a new modern stove was fitted, the previous stove had left some damage. After we discussed the options the customer wanted to keep the current tiling and replace any missing, damaged tiles, the customer also opted to replace the grout from a dull grey colour to a modern gold epoxy based grout.

The previous grout was removed using an oscillating multitool with the correct attachment. I was really pleased with the finish.

Over the last few weeks (weather dependant) we have demolished a slab base in preparation for a new strip foundation that was poured recently. We used C20 cement mix for the new summer house arriving in December, once erected we will be insulating with kingspan backed plasterboard and several coats of protective stain. I will post pictures of the finished summer house.

A typical shed roof replacement, as you can see the 12mm ply roof was rotten and leaking in many places, the only way forward to make sure water ingress was eliminated was to replace the roof. We decided to use 18mm OSB which added additional stability but also more cost effective for the customer . Shed was finished with green mineral felt and stabilising treated runners.

Unfortunately I do not have any before pictures from this job as the time period was tight before the lovely OAP moved into her assisted housing accommodation. She is not very tall so I had to lower all the wardrobe shelving and rails, gloss paint the shelving for cleanliness and lower coat hooks. All walls, ceilings and architrave were coated during this revamp. Several repairs were made to the bay windows where the old blinds were removed

In addition to the garage roof from the previous post the customer asked me to make a log store from any scrap wood and left over materials from the garage roof conversion. Its not my usual log store creation but I think its its turned out well considering pallets, planed and rough sarking wood was used. It has been finished with the same Jacobean Walnut that's slightly overkill for a log store but looks good and saved a few £s.

I really enjoyed this garage roof conversion. The customer contacted me for suggestions and solutions on how to improve the overall look of the gable end and garage roof. We discussed various options but the Katepal 2mm hexagon shingles were chosen. In addition to the garage roof I painted the whole east gable, garage and south side of the property. I also added a 600mm overhang to the garage entrance for protection.
The planed redwood facia was finished in a Jacobean Walnut with a wire wool key between coats.

Still plenty of work left with this customer.
