Thanks to everyone who participated in our Property Survey over the last month, we had a great response and LPZ Property is pleased to announce that Rachel has won the Amazon voucher which she received last week. The marketing has highlighted a few key areas, peoples jobs and working from home has and will become the norm, the majority of people were looking to move to a more rural area, perhaps that is Covid playing out and everyone looking for more space.

Its offer evening in the Lopez household, saw 5 properties on Friday and offers will be winging their way to three of the Estate Agents on Monday morning. Crunching numbers can be fun but imaging the finished article is more satisfying. So, we have floor plans and spreadsheets in front of us... What can we do to add value, research of planning and other properties in the area to see if there is precedent in the area’s.

Evening all on my walk tonight I walked past about 5 properties within about 1 mile of where i live that had no lights on and quite frankly looked derelict. Details have been added to our database and tomorrow i will do some homework and see if those properties are empty and if we can help in anyway. It is amazing walking at night at what you did not spot during the day...

I wonder what you would find if you walked around day or night, if you find anything and need some advice please drop me a message.

Start of Feb tomorrow and very pleased to be part of a successful small group of property entrepreneurs and we are becoming accountable with our goals twice a week for the next 6 weeks, watch this space as I expect some rapid growth or at least some constructive feedback on what we need to be doing moving forward in the current environment. I will share the highs and lows as i expect this to be a rough ride as i will getting out of my comfort zone a lot.

It has been a great week networking with like minded property developers at the Kent Property Meet and learning more about the Commercial Opportunities out there. Also investing time and effort into our Land and Sourcing course and just being able to spot deals out there which we would normally just pass on by.

We have also had a couple of family birthdays this week and we have had to adapt to these during Covid times with lots of Zoom or Facetime calls, still as long as we are healthy that is the main thing but not being able to celebrate their birthdays with friends and family has been a little stressful.

Enjoy the weekend and I hope you have kicked some goals this week.
