This exhibition aims to show the in-house talent here at Pixel, and the distinct individuality of each artist that works from our Studios.
Firstly we introduce Theo Carter-Weber, a visual artist whose practice explores energy, information and the curious ways we make sense of the world around us.
Working instinctively, Theo uses playful mark-making to build drawings that sit somewhere between observation, imagination and free association. Familiar objects, shapes and fragments often appear, creating small narratives and inviting viewers to make their own connections through personal experience.

Maria Treseder is a printmaker, predominantly working with lino and occasionally getting a little experimental with layering and colours. Maria mostly creates landscapes with windy skies. Her designs feature on a range of homewares, printed here at Pixel.
Hugh Appleton makes portraits of people whose courage has shaped a more just and equal world, alongside coastal landscapes that evoke the restorative power of nature - for those who believe that contemplation, gratitude, and action are all essential to restoring balance.
Poppy Treffry is a textile artist and designer living and working in West Cornwall. She
is best known for her quirky colourful collections of homewares and accessories. Each piece is created in response to initial sketches and the materials and textures at hand. They evolve as Poppy stitches, often taking several layers and meters of stitching before the composition is complete.
Charlotte Bradberry-Axten engages with the landscape with a newfound sincerity and explores mixed media bringing a vibrancy and freshness not seen before in her work.
