Slightly disappointed to have to write something like this on a glorious Sunday but here goes…
We are a busy removal company and time management can be extremely difficult at times as we very often feel as though we are chasing our tails to keep up. (We would never let clients see that side but that’s the reality). Business in the economic climate is challenging for all small and medium businesses so ensuring we use our time effectively is key.
Unfortunately we’ve had 3 or 4 requesting a home survey recently , they’ve booked in for allocated times and then just not been home when we’ve arrived for the agreed appointment. Worse still, we try calling and messaging without reply.
I understand sometimes things come up, life is busy but when we are rushing through BCP roadworks to get to appointments (we hate being late by the way) then I don’t think it is too much to ask to pick up the phone if something comes up.
Like I say, “I get it” we are all busy but you have picked up the phone to us in order for us to provide a free quotation, you have received a text the day before as way of reminder of the appointment and there’s not much else we can do.
Sometimes it can be a waste of a couple of hours if I’m in Swanage and the next quote is Lymington for example.
Time is precious, please can we all just appreciate that businesses don’t have the time or energy to waste on something that we offer as a free service.
