Check out this humongous bungalow loft in Preston. 616ft2 28ft long x 22ft wide
Previous workers had laid boards incorrectly causing weight issues when walked on and a lack of insulation due to no space between boards and ceiling joists.
We have built a raised timber sub frame so that enough insulation can be installed to meet required regulations and so there will now be no weight whatsoever added to the existing ceiling. The new frame and floor will easily take the weight of an additional room and furniture plus a whole lot more!
This is definitely up there with one of the biggest lofts I've worked on! It was an absolute pleasure!
