I received this from a client.

Hello Andrew,

I am so chuffed with the garage conversion. I have decided it will be “my room” for the foreseeable future. Office/consulting room, and sewing when I get the time and inclination.

Richard and Scott (Emma and Kevin plus “the others” who gave a hand when needed) have done a grand job. They worked so hard. As far as my eye can see the work is excellent quality. I want them to renovate my whole house – I wish! Richard and Scott were co-operative and super helpful when I needed to decide, or change my mind, over an element of the work. They also faced some challenges to make the room “fit for purpose” taking it in their stride and using their knowledge and experience to come up with a way to solve the problem. I was also super impressed with the way in which the team cleared up at the end of each working day.

Thank you for being co-operative in changing the scope/size of the job and helping me to source suppliers and manufacturers. You have always been pleasant and helpful and Dave and I have appreciated you for being so. We also want to acknowledge our thanks to you for providing us with a detailed estimate of cost at the beginning of the work and regular update valuations as the work progressed. Also for providing us with some space at your yard to store the fixtures and fittings (big and small) as they arrived.

I also want to voice mine, and David’s appreciation for the other skilled people who did their bit. Plumber (Shane), electrician (Paul), air conditioning (Terry Nash).

In terms of after service you have been great with co-ordinating your team to come and iron out inevitable cliches.
