A luxury bathroom transformation that was insipired by Pinterest. Our client had some content to show which they wanted this project to be styled alike. This is what we delivered a high end modern transformation from old bathroom to a totally new layout and look to a walk in shower room.

Good cladding installations look simple.
Achieving that finish rarely is.

This fibre cement cladding project using James Hardie planks was a job where the success of the finished result depended entirely on the preparation behind it.

Before a single plank was even ordered, the full timber framework for the cladding system had to be carefully planned and installed. The existing structure was significantly out of plumb, which meant every timber upright had to be individually packed and set using the string line method to create a perfectly straight and structurally sound framework.

Cladding systems like this rely heavily on correct installation procedures. Ventilation gaps, fixing points, spacing and moisture management all have to follow strict manufacturer guidelines to ensure the system performs correctly and qualifies for the full James Hardie warranty.

The organisation, preparation and attention to detail at this stage are what determine whether the materials will perform properly for decades.

This was a project I completed entirely solo, from the early planning and structural timber preparation through to the final installation of the cladding system. It’s a project I’m particularly proud of as it demonstrates the level of experience, patience and technical understanding required to deliver high quality results on complex builds.

4 Gable Ends. No Eaves. That Had To Change.

This property originally had four gable ends with no eaves, which wouldn’t work with the new cladding system being installed.

Sections of the existing slate roof had to be carefully removed so the roofline could be extended outwards. New eaves were constructed, new slates installed, and the edges finished with black cement wet verges to create a clean and durable finish.

A lot of work across both the front and rear of the property — and a project completed entirely by myself.

Challenges along the way, but the end result and transformation made it all worthwhile.

2025 was a year for me that consisted of a wide range of projects, from the simple carpentry jobs of fitting interior doors , kitchen installations, flooring, skirtings , to the more challenging projects that I took on which was giving a home a external makeover by using James Hardie cement boards that totally transforms the building to also taking on bathroom renovation.

My skillsets don’t just cater to one trade, I’m a carpenter of 17 years however I have a wide range of professional services that I have crafted over the years to perfect my my skills, knowledge and experience in a wide range of trades including tiling, plumbing, fencing, joinery, decorating.

I have a portfolio showcasing all projects and jobs I have completed first hand solely by myself this is to allow my past and potential customers to go through my work and get a real feel for my professional service and to get comfortable that I am a person they would like to take on the jobs they need doing.

A recently finished walk-in shower room, fully designed, planned and completed by myself from start to finish.

This project focused on clean lines, practical layout and a premium finish, turning a dated bathroom into a calm, modern space that works beautifully day to day.
