Absolutely chuffed for our guest.
He won 1st prize in his competitive section.
Our other cottage guest also won a prize but we didn't manage to get a photo as he had to leave really early.

It appears that Stithians Show Event Ground is busy yet again.

Last weekend, it was the Folk Music Festival and this week, we have the Vintage Car Rally.

It's been a superb, busy weekend. The campsite was almost full and we have to make a special mention to our 5 guests who booked out both cottages to visit the folk music, Fishermen's Friends Festival at Stithians Showground.
As everyone will know, we do everything here and we were delighted to find the cottages were left spotless. Both cottages took us just two and a half hours, to clean and prepare them, ready for incoming guests this evening.
It makes such a huge difference to us and we are very appreciative.

The campsite is now open and our first tents and vans arrived for the weekend.
Luckily we had plenty of time to clean, paint and do improvements to our lane before they arrived.
Sadly, the boiler had to be replaced. Just 2 months over it's guarantee time.... typical.

A rare treat to the cinema in Redruth last night, had the staff excited. Not because they haven't seen us in a while 🙈 but the surprise presence of Warwick Davies, enjoying his meal at the table opposite us.

Some pretty fancy sports cars were parked in the high street so it appears that Redruth is attracting more celebrities than before 😁
Anyway, the movie was pretty good 😅 x
