It's been years since I last walked over The Menai Bridge and today the weather was perfect.

The temporary traffic light control meant I could get a cheeky photo in the middle of the road too 😉

The Menai Bridge was built by Thomas Telford between 1819 - 1826.

But who built neighbouring Britannia Bridge...?

The Boat Pool is where Town Beach (Traeth Crigyll) meets Broad Beach (Traeth Llydan).

When the tide is in, this sheltered, calm stretch of water provides a safe place for boats to moor and easy access out to sea.
