This time last week we were strolling around York in the fresh air.
This Saturday afternoon spent in a boiling hot shallow loft space.
I’m stripping out old wiring, perished old insulation and replacing with new 100mm Knauf insulation.

Dusty, dirty and itchy.
Living the dream 😂👍

It’s been a busy few weeks with our cleaning business and the school holidays. We have jumped forward again though with our renovation, the lounge and hallway are almost finished now, just doors to paint, curtains to put up and lounge lighting. Then on to the bathroom! 👏🏻 Big shout out to our family for all their help and support and of course Sam Wilford for his quality work and just being a nice person to have around 😊 Indy Gill Maadho Singh BecomeALandlord.Co.Uk DONE-FOR-YOU DEALS Beth Bird John Davidson Dawn Stutzman Touchstone Education - UK’s Leading Property Educator 🏡

September 2026 Property Wealth Summit

A fantastic day with the Touchstone Wealth Academy again at Doncaster Racecourse.
It’s brilliant to meet up with all the coaches and friends with the same goals and love for property development.
Brilliant program presented through the day.
We all enjoyed a great lunch and networking evening. Great drinks provided by Startrading, many thanks Lewis Compton!
We loved the day. Thanks everyone 😇🥰👍

Hi this post is a massive shout out to Samuel Wilford who has worked with us over the last few months.
He’s fully fitted our kitchen from start to finish.
This has included all plumbing, electrics, joinery, fitting of work tops and installation of integrated appliances.
Sam has fitted laminated flooring throughout our property along with the replacement of skirting boards and architraves.
Sam carries out his work to a very high standard and finish. As obstacles have presented themselves as they always do in construction, Sam’s problem solving, wide angle view and future proofing shines through.
He’s a great tradesman and friend!

Every stage gets us closer to transforming this house into something special. Huge thanks to James JNP Plastering for the quality plastering work-the difference is incredible. We’re documenting the entire renovation from start to finish, sharing the wins, the challenges, and what we are doing along the way. Fireplace and Ceiling removed. Plastering done 😇

Hi this is a little update of the renovation of our lounge and hallway.

24/06/2026

Well it’s been an intense couple of weeks. The flooring is finished in the kitchen and we’ve gone straight into getting the lounge and hall plastered and finished. It’s meant taking down the ceiling as shown in photos. Removing old fireplace and any old electrical points. The plasterer James is here today so will put some pic. Definitely feeling it with living in this refurb. We have furniture in all the other rooms at the moment but we know it’s going to be a huge jump forward once this is completed. Onwards and upwards!
