Bit of a personal project this weekend, I live in a new build and had the task of decorating my youngest child’s bedroom. As you can see, one of the corners of the wall had a large defect from poor previous workmanship so I had the task of sorting it out.

First of all I removed any crumbling plaster, removed the tape that had been put on diagonally and filled and prepped it for a good finish.

Good prep then helped with a perfect finish when painting and papering 🌟

Using my new spray gun on a new build bungalow this week.

I’m also a qualified sprayer and it’s been a while since I picked up a spray gun so had a bit of fun with this yesterday. Excited to see the finished result at the end of the week 🙌🏻

As a standard now I always price in durable paint, this because it performs better and lasts longer and as you can see, you can wipe of most marks with a damp cloth. It is slightly more expensive than standard paints but worth it in the long run to keep your paint looking fresh and clean.

I use this in my own house too - two boys racing around means there’s always mess to clean up somewhere.

You are all keeping my diary extremely busy, I am now taking bookings from November onwards. So if you are wanting to get booked in before Christmas please get in touch.

Pretty proud of this transformation! 👌

This hallway & stairs needed a lot of preparation before any paint could go on. The old wallpaper was completely stripped, all flaking paint removed, and the walls repaired where needed.

The existing silk walls were then thoroughly prepped and finished in a fresh matt paint, giving the room a much cleaner, modern look.

As always, the preparation is what makes the difference. Another happy transformation completed! 🎨

Hope everyone enjoyed the warm Bank Holiday weekend ☀️ We celebrated my eldest son’s 11th birthday with a BBQ and campout sleepover with his friends 🎉

Before the busy weekend, I managed to finish refreshing this bathroom with wallpaper and a fresh coat of white on the ceiling.

Just finished this kitchen/diner transformation 👌

Ceilings, walls, and all woodwork completed, with the woodwork upgraded from an oil-based finish to a water-based one for a cleaner, longer-lasting look.

Colour choice: Wevet No.273 with a Hopper Head No.305 feature wall — a great combination to really lift the space.
