The time it takes to cut in around these sockets compared to unscrewing them is minimal.
The result is a much neater finish with no paint on the sockets. 😡
Somethings are always worth doing properly. 💪🏼👊🏼

I love painting front doors. 🥰
This door had really dried out from the sun and had not been painted in a longtime. I gave it a good sanding, started at 80 then to 120 and 240 before any painting.
Used Albany UV ebony stain, to keep the natural detail of the wood. 👍🏼😊😊👍🏼
