Some sales really do test everyone involved… this was one of them.
We launched Bocking Lane in September 2025 and were blown away by the response. Six buyers competed for the property, and with a sale agreed, our sellers could finally start planning their next move.
Then, circumstances completely outside anyone’s control brought the sale to an unexpected end, meaning we had to start again.
Our focus quickly turned to helping our sellers keep their move alive. We contacted every buyer who had previously shown interest and secured a new purchaser—at an even higher price than the original sale.
The only catch? They needed to sell their own home.
So, we launched Mitchell Road and, once again, the response was incredible. Four buyers competed, best and final offers, and with a sale agreed, the chain was complete.
Two months into the legal process, the buyers withdrew.
With the pressure building further up the chain, we relaunched Mitchell Road and secured a new buyer within just 48 hours. Then came yet another hurdle: unexpected mortgage valuation and building regulations issues. Weeks of persistence, chasing and working with all parties finally got the decision overturned and the chain moving again.
After months of uncertainty, the entire chain successfully exchanged contracts and completed.
This is why our job doesn’t end when an offer is accepted. It’s about solving problems, keeping people talking, staying calm under pressure, and doing everything possible to get our clients to moving day.
Congratulations to everyone involved. We couldn’t be happier that everyone made it to their new homes.
