Rendering job on a newly built garden outhouse 👷🏼‍♂️

We applied one-coat render to this garden building. A return visit was required to complete the front and side wall after the doors and windows had been installed. We also boarded and skimmed the inside using normal board and finish.

A small downstairs toilet renovation

The toilet was leaking and had damaged the flooring. The room was also experiencing issues with excess moisture, which was being trapped by plastic cladding installed on the back wall. We stripped everything back to the brickwork and rebuilt the space. The brickwork was fairly straight, so we used treated timber on the back wall to create a cavity between the brickwork and the plasterboard. We also built a dwarf wall along the back wall, matching the height of the window sill.

A bungalow conversion that required boarding and skimming throughout.

The customer chose to convert the loft space into three bedrooms and a bathroom.

Insulation plasterboard was installed on all external walls and the sloped ceiling. Fire protection plasterboard was fitted to the ceilings to cover and protect the RSJs. Ceiling angles filled out before on the sloped sections to create a radius, resulting in a smooth, continuous finish after skimming.

A newly built bungalow that needed boarding and skimming for Allert Building & Construction out in Ardwick Upon Dearne. This job took just over 2 full weeks to complete.

Sound block plasterboard used on the stud walls to help reduce noise between adoining rooms, moisture-resistant board was fitted both bathrooms due to the high humidity levels.

First job to kick off the new career into plastering!

Customer wanted the walkway on the landing boarded and skimmed with the ceiling being built down on the old joists at the back of the walkway to match the new joists in the middle which will make it all one height throughout the walkway.
